Audi Fashion Festival 2013: 15-19 May

The annual fashion event – Audi Fashion Festival – is here again from 15-19 of May this year. However, the Tent has moved from Ngee Ann City to Marina Promenade with the impressive red carpet entrance and iconic Singapore skyline as backdrop.

15 MAY: AFF OPENING SHOW – THE HOUSE OF HERRERA

Carolina Herera is one of the show that Im gonna watch this Audi Fashion Festival. Her design is classy, chic, very feminine she usually place with different texture and materials- they are long flowy dresses, tweed and furs as well as smooth satin. This opening also coincides with Herrera’s new store at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Really excited to see her show.

16 MAY: COLLETTE DINNIGAN A/W 2013

Iconic Australian fashion label; amazing lace dresses; beautiful bridal gowns; lingerie and diffusion collections. Colette Dinnigan Fall collection oscillates between white black and silver tones with focus on womanly style and silhouette.

17 MAY: TSUMORI CHISATO A/W 2013

She attended Tokyo's Bunka Fashion College . She began work with Issey Miyake in 1977 and started her own line in 1990. She took her work to Paris in 2003 and has built a following in the United States. Her aesthetic focuses on prints and has a "healthy dose of manga/bohemian cuteness".
Style.com commuted that the Japanese designer "was a bit of an oddball" which for me it makes her design fun.

18 MAY: PETER PILOTTO

19 MAY: CHALAYAN A/W 2013

Closing Sow  of this year’s AFF is with British-Turkish designer Hussein Chalayana showcasing his modern autumn/winter collection.

Other than the above highlights, there are also a show of  Future Fashion Now, Parco Next Next, Raoul featuring Erin Heartherthon and Gisellablu (from Dubai). This year’s festival is a going to be a blast of talents from different continents and Im excited to see some of them!
